What day!

Hello everyone!! We wanted to share with you our fun-filled day on Saturday (we would have posted earlier, but we are having some computer problems!!) Saturday morning we got to take our car and drive around the track at Darlington - Too Tough to Tame! It was sooo fun - the pace car took us out on the track - I figured we would get to drive 45-55, but no, we hit 80 mph!! And they let you almost drive all the way up to the wall! There we cones up there, which Adam felt necessary to hug the entire time! Darlington just added a tunnel and repaved the track - it was soo neat to get to drive under the track in the tunnel and then ride around the track. Adam got to drive this time since two years ago for my birthday mom and dad gave me a driving experience at Darlington - I got to drive a REAL racecar, and I even got lucky enough to drive Jr's #8 Budweiser! It was soo cool. Maybe we will get to do it again someday!

And then we went to Myrtle Beach to shop and eat out for my birthday (which was actually today) We had a great time - but the trip was too short (we didn't spend the night this time since we are headed back to IN this Thursday!)

But the funniest part of the night was over at the neighbor's house - they were putting up new railing on their front porch and we were over there talking to them. They were using a nail gun. And all was going well - until some cap came loose and air was flying out - Mandy's hair was everywhere and her face was priceless - and then Dave said "oh no" I seriously thought nails were about to shoot out on her (I am sure my face was priceless as well!!) Adam was laughing soo hard he was practically rolling on the ground. Maybe you had to be there!!!

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter everyone!!! Hope you are all having a great day. Adam and I went and enjoyed a really good service at our church this morning. "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8) After Church we made a delicious meal!! And now we are just relaxing and taking it easy before having to return to work tomorrow! Of course we included some more pics of the dogs.

After a long day of playing outside, Bailey and Peyton snuggled on the couch for a well-deserved nap! How cute! (note the Bulldog throw on the back of the couch - Mom gave it to Adam for Christmas and it has Bailey and Peyton embroidered on it!)

Relaxing weekend

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Adam and I were both exhausted from returning to work after so many days off!! We both really enjoyed the race yesterday - Kyle Busch won and Jr. got third (of course I wish Jr. would have won!!) We included some pics of the dogs - they get along soo well and have started lying next to each and snuggling a bit! Hope you all have a fabulous week!

During the race Adam and Bailey were relaxing on the couch, and then all of the sudden Bailey jumped up onto Adam's head and was licking it clean!

Here I am rooting on Jr - notice I had to get all new gear! I used to wear my red #8 pants with a red Jr sweatshirt - now I had to get black and green #88 pants and sweatshirt! I HATE the color green, but as long as it isn't the primary color, I guess I can wear it!

Our 10 day vacation!!!

Hey everyone!! We just had a FABULOUS 10 day vacation!!! (needless to say, we are both exhausted!) First we went on a 5 night cruise - it left out of Jacksonville and went to Key West, FL and Nassau, Bahamas. While in Key West we went to the Southernmost point of the continental United States. The weather was beautiful - but it was soooo hot! There was NO breeze! While in the Bahamas, we took a water ferry tour and saw the hotel in which Anna Nicole Smith had her baby (the same hotel where her son Daniel died), a house owned by Nicolas Cage and countless other landmarks. We also went and toured the Atlantis - the presidential suite there costs $25,000 a night!!! We did not do much shopping in the markets - neither one of us like people trying to "push" their stuff on you while you are browsing! Here are a few of our pictures from the cruise.....

As for the rest of our vacation, we went to Myrtle Beach with Mom and Dad. The sun was shining, but boy was it windy!! When you were standing at the ocean it was quite cool and blustery!! But we were still able to grill out and have a campfire!
