6 months ago today..........

6 months today I got that horrible phone call that mom had passed away..... some days I am still in shock and wish I was going to wake up from a nightmare. Every day I still wish I could call her - to complain about work, tell her about the new/fun things Connor is now doing, tell her a "crazy patient" story, just to say hi/i love you, etc. These past six months I have found comfort in poems and certain song lyrics. I am glad she is Connor's guardian angel.

Why did she have to go
So young I just don't know why

Quick update!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you know we are all moved in to the new house in Myrtle Beach! We are LOVING our new house/new city! Dad came down the Wed night before we closed on Friday (and he is still here slaving away for us!) and Adam's parents came Thursday afternoon before we closed and left bright and early that following Monday morning. Everyone was such a big help getting the U-Haul unloaded and then re-loaded (who knew we had soo much stuff!) Adam has been joking that during the day my dad is Papa Daycare and then in the afternoon/evening turns into Tom the lawn boy/Tom the handyman!! Seriously, Dad has done soo much for us - we wouldn't be anywhere close to all moved in if we didn't have his help!

Connor is now eight months old! Where has the time gone!!?? Connor crawls EVERYWHERE and now pulls up on EVERYTHING! He is definitely a baby on the move!! He LOVES the pool - the neighborhood we moved into has two big pools and a baby pool! So far he isn't too sure about the ocean but he LOVES playing in the sand on the beach! He is soo much fun and we are loving every minute of it!!
